C.J. McCollum Hits Last-Second Shot To Give Blazers Revenge Win Over Mavs

For the second time in three games the Trail Blazers and Mavericks squared off and, like the previous game on Friday, the contest came down to the wire. But this time, there was a different victor.
Portland had a 12-point lead with just over seven minutes remaining but Dallas chipped away, eventually taking the lead with four to go. The teams traded baskets until the end with neither able to get a stop. Luckily for the Blazers, they had the ball last.
After Dirk Nowitzki nailed a go-ahead 3-pointer with three seconds remaining to give Dallas a one-point lead, it was C.J. McCollum's turn to answer. The Portland shooting guard split the Dallas defense, driving the lane and sunk a floater with 0.3 seconds remaining to give the Blazers the 114-113 Win.
McCollum led all NBA scorers Tuesday on the short three-game slate, pouring in 32 points while Damian Lillard added 29 for the Blazers.
***Stud of the night***
James Harden scored 25 points and dished out 13 assists as the Rockets pulled away from the Magic in the fourth quarter for a 128-104 win. The MVP candidate Harden added six rebounds and three steals as the Rockets sealed their 20th win at home this season.
***Dud of the night***
The Hornets were able to top the Nets by four at home but All-Star point guard Kemba Walker continued his shooting slump in the win. Walker was just 4 of 20 from the field but managed to knock down eight free throws to finish with 17 points. Over his past five games, Walker is shooting just 35 percent from the field.
***Highlight***
Marvin Williams scored 14 points for the Hornets including this emphatic slam.
***What's next***
