Petrol price hiked by Rs 0.42, diesel by Rs 1.03 per liter.

New Delhi, Petrol Price Increase: Petrol price increased by Rs. 0.42/litre, diesel prices raised by Rs. 1.03/litre respectively. This is the third rise in the petrol this month.

Last petrol price was increased on 1/1/2017 when the prices was increased seeing a rise in the international oil prices, the Indian petrol companies also increased the Petrol Price by Rs 1.29 and Diesel price by 0.97 respectively. The new changed price will be applicable from mid night today. Before this Petrol price hiked in December 17 by Rs 2.21 a liter and diesel by Rs 1.79 per liter.

You should know that the Bharat Petroleum Corp (BPCL), Indian Oil Corp (IOC) and Hindustan Petroleum Corp (HPCL) revise the Petrol and diesel rates on 1st and 16th of every month based on average international price in the previous fortnight.
